The Lake Mead Area Weather station has been in continous operation since March of 2003, providing accurate weather
readings from
a location about 6 miles south-southwest of Las Vegas Bay in the Boulder Basin area of the lake.
Weather equipment consists of an Oregon Scientific WMR-968 Weather Station, and Virtual Weather Station software
running on a dedicated server.
The information on this web site is updated every 2 minutes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week,
